The Ultrasky fixed pitch roof lantern with superior spanning performance allows more light in with less bars required, incorporating thermally efficient self cleaning glass.

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum sizes – width 500mm – length 750mm .
  • Maximum sizes – width 4000mm – length 5850mm
  • Length needs to be a minimum of 250mm longer than width.
  • 25 degree pitch to all sides.
  • Measure to external timber upstand sizes.
  • External cappings – PVC Grey RAL 7016
  • Internal cappings – PVC Grey RAL 7016
  • Self Cleaning glass with 1.0 U-Value

GLAZING AND SIZES

Rectangular double-ended roof lights with a width from 500 to 4000mm and a length from 750 to 5850mm, 25 degree fixed pith to all sides, glazing bar top caps in chambered PVC.

PROFILES

Low profile eaves beam (no gutter) designed to be fitted with over sailing 24mm double glazed units (high performance low e, self-cleaning and solar control in blue or neutral clear).

DESIGN

Ultrasky is designed around maximum uninterrupted sight lines, bar numbers are reduced (or can be added if you prefer) and the ridge board and hub ends are as unobtrusive as possible.

THERMAL

The thermal performance has been optimised to make it suitable for extensions in domestic properties. Typical U value with 1.1 glass for a 1000mm wide x2000mm long rooflight is 1.4 W/m2K.

VENTS

Add a roof vent to let in the fresh air – Roof vents are available with a manual opener, automatic opener or an automatic opener with rain and temperature control. * (roof vents only available in selected sizes).
